Therapy method​

Family therapy is a powerful psychotherapeutic method for improving relationships and communication. Family therapy focuses on the difficulties and challenges that arise in relationships and that affect well-being without being able to see or understand the context. Often there are patterns that need to be discovered and changed because they lead to communication problems and recurring conflicts. 

As a licensed family therapist, I help you strengthen your understanding of yourself and the people around you, improve your communication, and strengthen your relationships. Your well-being will thank you for your efforts.

Me

I am a trained psychologist at the University of Vienna, Austria (Master’s degree 1991) and a systemic family therapist (degree 2001). In Vienna, I worked for the Save the Children association with family therapy and also supported families with problems in external communication. In my own clinic, I also worked with couples therapy and conversations for individuals. I live in Helsinki and work at the Helsinki City Couples Counseling Center, which is a good complement to my own clinic. In addition to Swedish, my working languages ​​are German, Finnish and English.
